New Movies Opening Friday April 18th: “Transcendence”, “Bears”, “Heaven is For Real” and “Haunted House 2”

There are a four new movies hitting theaters this holiday weekend. Johnny Depp stars in the sci-fi thriller “Transcendence”. It’s up against a documentary about “Bears”, a movie about the existence of heaven and the comedy sequel “Haunted House 2”.

Transcendence – PG 13
A sci-fi thriller about a scientist who uses technology to surpass human intelligence.

Bears - G
A beautifully filmed documentary that follows the lives of a bear family, a mother and her two cubs, as they make their lives together in Alaska.

Heaven Is For Real - PG
A child claims that he visited heaven during a near-death experience.

A Haunted House 2 - R
The sequel to last year’s parody of recent haunted-house movies.
