There a few new movies opening in theaters today. The first is a horror movie starring Aaron Eckhart as Frankensteins monster. It’s up against a new drama starring “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens which is a limited release. Meaning it can only be seen at Cinemark in Shreveport at this time.

I, Frankenstein (PG-13)

Aaron Eckhart plays Frankenstein's monster, who's still around 200 years later and now calls himself Adam. Based on the graphic novel of the same name it’s about a demon who wants to use Adam to figure out how to raise an army of reanimated corpses for demons to possess.

Gimme Shelter (PG-13)

Vanessa Hudgens is a pregnant teenager who runs away from her drug-addicted mom and ends up on the streets. Brendan Fraser plays her father, Rosario Dawson is her abusive mom, and James Earl Jones is one of the people who try to help her.
