New LSU Beer Is Named ‘Bandit Blonde’
LSU's officially licensed brew will most likely hit shelves this October. An eye patch wearing tiger will adorn the purple and gold cans. Manufactured by Tin Roof Brewing Company in Baton Rouge, 'Bandit Blonde' was a joint creation between Tin Roof and the LSU food science department.
During manufacturing of this officially licensed LSU beer, the food science department on campus along with Tin Roof Brewing Company decided to create a beer that complimented the atmosphere of tail gating in Baton Rouge--meaning, something you would want to drink while it is hot and humid. The creation turned out to be a pale ale named 'Bandit Blonde'.
Since this beer is an officially licensed product, Louisiana State University will receive all the profits from the sale of 'Bandit Blonde'.
