Meet Bristol’s New Valentine… Sweetie Pie! [VIDEO]

Meet the new love of my life! Her name is April's Sweetheart and she's already my Sweetie Pie! I found her in the Woodland's Area of Houston and when I saw her, I knew I had to have her!

Sweetie is an 8-year-old Percheron/Belgian/Thoroughbred Draft Cross... otherwise known as an American Warmblood. She's 17hh and wears ginormous size three shoes!

We went and tried her out and brought her home in January, but I didn't want to jinx myself and say anything until the trial period was over... But now I can officially say Sweetie is mine!

She's just the coolest! Her name is Sweetheart because not only was she born on Valentine's Day, she has a heart shaped star on her face! And yes, you know we'll celebrate her birthday this Sunday with plenty of carrots, minus the cake!

I wanted to share some video of her so we shot a quick clip yesterday during my lesson. It was seriously windy out! I can't wait for show season to start so I can bring my new girl out to play!
