A massive fire on the outskirts of Downtown Shreveport is causing concerns all across the Shreveport and Bossier Area. The smoke from the fire can be seen from all over the city, and on the Bossier side of the Red River.

KTAL is reporting that explosions are now occurring at the site of the fire. Local photojournalist  Jaques Dawkins posted drone footage of the fire...

As of right now, the only word on where the fire is located comes from Shreveport City Councilwoman LeVette Fuller, who posted on social media that it is an old fuel depot that is currently on fire.  So far,  there have been over 37 first responder units on the scene from multiple local departments. Including units from Shreveport Fire and Shreveport Police. The location listed online is on Sestin St, near Bavia Street and Cedar Street in Downtown Shreveport.

Looking at a map of the area, there are a few businesses in that neighborhood. Including some bars, a construction and remodeling business, and the legendary Herby-K's is in that general area as well.
