Melissa Nussman Is Latest Caught in the Act Recipient

It was obvious the minute she answered our phone call this morning, Melissa Nussman was still sound asleep.

God love her, it was almost comical listening to her, but she definitely woke up at hearing us mention we had received a letter about her from her friend, Cindy Bissell.

Cindy wrote to tell us of this incredible angel, whose commitment to all those she encounters was unparalleled.

And it's that commitment to others and Melissa's giving heart that we celebrate this week as we name her the latest recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just look at the letter we got from Cindy, and you'll understand why Melissa was such an easy selection.

Melissa wears so many hats that I don't know where to start. She constantly has so much going on that I don't know how she keeps up with herself. She helps in the nursery and with the meal ministry at church. She sits with elderly and also helps other elderly in need. Sometimes it's just as simple as enjoying a lunch with someone that is lonely, or taking them a few things to brighten their day. If you are at the hospital and Melissa knows about it, you can count on her coming to sit with you and offer a prayer and word of comfort. She truly has a servants heart! The world needs more Melissas.
