Leesa Wallace is This Week’s Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award

We're sad to say that before this morning, we'd never heard of Leesa Wallace, or her incredible ministry, Shekinah Solutions, but thanks to Deborah Cone, now, we not only know just how incredible Leesa is, we know just what kind of miracles they're performing at Shekinah Solutions!

When Deborah wrote to us to nominate Leesa for the Caught in the Act Award, we were blown away to learn all that Leesa does to better our community, but after speaking with Leesa, we also learned just how important her Shekinah Solutions is to this community. She's definitely an angel here on earth, and easily a shoe-in as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Just look at the letter we received from Deborah!

Leesa is a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 5 boys. But she is also a part time Mom to several children in the home school she administers. Leesa is a true Woman of God. Her and her husband pastored a church in town for several years and touch many hearts. She has been known to take in young friends in need of a safe home to stay in while pregnant and to help them achieve their goals. But her heart truly belongs to the children with “other” abilities. The school she administers is a school for special needs children and children who have trouble in normal school settings. Her own son is in a wheelchair. She is committed to changing and improving their lives through education and life skills. She has taken my child and increased her learning abilities beyond what doctors and educators have told me she would or could do. And she does all of this will still being Mom, grandmother and helping and taking care of her husband who is battling cancer. She is trying to establish a second school for those students that have aged out of scholastic systems to further educate and develop more life skills. She has always left it in God’s hands and has been a true blessing to my daughter and my whole family. She really deserve this!

Leesa Wallace, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
