The minute we looked at Kristy McAndrews' nomination letter that we received from Lily Kelley, we knew that Kristy was something special. She's obviously the type of person who always manages to fill a need when she sees it.

I love the fact that even Lily has noticed that Kristy leads by example. Now that's putting your faith where your heart is! And what a heart she obviously has! It's that heart that have earned her the distinction as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just look at that letter we got from Lily and you'll see how easy of a decision this was for us.

Kristy is always trying to help others. Whether it is with food, utility payments, work on someone's home, etc., she will find a way to get stuff done. Most times it involves getting members of community involved. She is always collecting and distributing something to those in need of help. All of this while dealing with her own medical issues. She is a very spiritual person and leads by example. She is a true Christian and lives every day believing GOD will provide.

Kristy, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
