As the Krewe of Centaur enters their 28th year of Mardi Gras parading in Shreveport/Bossier, they're happy to announce that country up and coming superstar and Shreveport native Jordan Davis is this year's grand marshal!

Davis' break out album Home State has already spawned two hits with Singles You Up and Take It From Me. Singles You Up hit number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in April of 2018 and Jordan hasn't looked back since! In fact, Billboard named Davis 2018's 'Top New Country Artist.' Jordan hits the road with Old Dominion and Mitchel Tenpenny on the Make It Sweet tour starting January 18th, stopping in Shreveport to fulfill his grand marshal duties between tour dates.

The Krewe of Centaur parade rolls Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 4 pm and as we get closer, we'll have more information on where and when Davis will be available for any meet and greet opportunities. This year's Krewe of Centaur XXVIII Grand Bal is Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Shreveport Convention Center starting at 6:30 pm featuring a presentation of this year's royalty, live music by the KLOCKS, an open bar and food. Tickets are $90 in advance.
