Everything We Know About the New Kingston Park Coming to Bossier Parish
It's official! The Bossier Parish Police Jury was obviously proud to announce that construction has finally begun of the highly anticipated Kingston Park!

According to the Bossier Parish Police Jury's website, the concept for this park began over five years ago, when in early 2020, the site was selected just off Kingston Road at its intersection with Fairburn Avenue.
At that time, the master plan, which the jury approved, indicated the future park would be placed on either side of Fairburn, the road that provides access to both Kingston Elementary School and the new Benton High School.
And now, construction of this beautiful new Bossier Parish Park has finally begun!
In the full engineering design below, you can see why the Police Jury is proud of this new venture.
According to the Bossier Parish Police Jury, the new Kingston Park will feature a scenic asphalt walking trail winding through beautiful shade trees around the perimeter.
There will also be four spacious pavilions perfect for gatherings and a designated area for a future playground. A small bayou running along the eastern boundary of the planned area will be retained.
At this time, no expected completion date has been provided, but if/when that information or any new construction updates are provided by the Police Jury, we will be sure to pass that information along.
