We learned just how amazing Kim is from her employee, Miranda Foster, who told us in Kim's nomination letter just how much Kim means to this community and to those fortunate enough to work with her.

Just look at her nomination letter and you'll see why it was so easy to name Kim Burchell this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Well there is alot I can say about Kim first of all she is a co worker of mine she is a boss to me. She is the glue that makes the office work she has alot on her plate and she never complains about it. I haven't lived here long in Louisiana and I was struggling trying to find a job and I had put it on social media looking for an office job. Late one night in August of 2022 I received a message from this lady Kim who I hadn't a clue to who she was and she was looking for some help in their office. She let me know she was legit and told me about their office and she wanted to know if I would come in for an interview I was so happy to finally get some luck on a job. So I came in she offered me the job and let me tell you. She has gone above and beyond for me. Anything her and the owner ask I get it done for them. She gives people so many second chances with the business we are in when alot of others don't give second chances. She hardly ever takes off work she's always there and if you ever need anything all you have to do is ask her and she's gonna do whatever she has to do to make it happen. This is what you call a good friend/co worker and I couldn't ask for a better person to work with. People like Kim makes it easy to come to work everyday because she does care and if anyone ever tries to do me wrong she fixes it real quick. I'm so thankful for her and all she does for me and the rest of us in our office. She is truly Heaven sent not only would I agree I know all the others would agree as well.
