When you make a phone call to let someone know they've been selected as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award and you actually interrupt them while they are on a mission trip, you can rest pretty comfortably in the fact that you've made a great selection.

Such was the case today when we called Katrina Sproles.

Just look at the nomination letter about her from her husband Scotty!

I'd like to take a moment to recognize my wife, Katrina Sproles. For over the past year she has been the coordinator for BPCC’s Cavalier Care Center and was instrumental in creating this center. She has worked tirelessly in helping BPCC students of all ages with things such as finding housing, food, groceries, and clothing for things such as job interviews for students who are in need of these things and unable to afford them, which has been especially difficult for many during the COVID-19. She has done this all while completing her Masters degree from LA Tech which she will graduate in the fall of this year. Not only has she given back to the community with her work which she feels is very rewarding to help others , but she has also mentored a group of girls at Eastwood Baptist Church in the youth group from their 7th grade year all the way til they graduated high school. She is more than deserving of this award and I'm extremely proud of the work she has done.

Katrina Sproles, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Katrina to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
