Joey Young Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient

Tyler's admiration of Joey just oozed from every word of the nomination letter that she sent us regarding Joey.

Now, as a grown woman herself, Tyler could more clearly see that Joey's willingness to come to the aid of others isn't just limited to her husband or kids.

Joey is constantly on call to help others in times of need and it's that spirit and commitment to her community that made Joey such an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

One of the best words to describe my mom, Joey Young, would be selfless. Although, she would disagree & say “funny” is the best word to describe herself. My mom is someone who will drop everything to help the people that she loves and cares about. Growing up, I just thought that’s what she did for my brothers & I because she was our mom. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized it goes beyond just her children. In the past year, especially, she has dropped everything to help with sick family members, helped me plan my wedding, helped me move 3 hours away, she’s helped my brother finish his degree & get him ready for his first real interview to land his dream job, she even helps my stepdad with literally anything & everything during race weekends, and everything In between. She’s constantly helping her friends & family when they are in need, no questions asked. I always think to myself, “mom does so much to take care of everybody else, but what are we doing to take care of mom?!” There aren’t enough words for me to express how much I appreciate her, but I hope she knows how much we all love & cherish her!
