The people we select to watch our children don't realize just how much confidence we have in them. We've chosen them to love, protect and care for the ones who we hold closest; our babies.

What some of us might not realize is that there are people, like Jodi Lemons, who likely care for our babies just as much as we do!

We learned of this angelic woman from Lindsay LeMoine who penned one of the most beautiful nomination letters we've received and made Jodi a perfect fit as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

It is an honor to tell you about Ms. Jodi. She is the kind of person whose strength, compassion, and dedication shine so brightly that you can’t help but be inspired by her presence. In recent years, Ms. Jodi has walked through unimaginable loss—first her son, and most recently her father. Yet even in the face of heartbreak, she continues to show up every single day with unwavering love and an infectious smile. Her resilience is nothing short of extraordinary. Ms. Jodi pours herself into caring for others. Five days a week, she tirelessly nurtures and comforts infants, giving them the gentle, attentive care that only someone with a truly selfless heart can provide. On weekends, while many rest, she continues her calling as a caregiver—showing once again that for her, compassion is not a task but a way of life. She never complains. She never seeks recognition. She simply loves—deeply, wholeheartedly, and unconditionally. Everyone who crosses her path feels the warmth of her kindness and the sincerity of her spirit. The world needs more people like Ms. Jodi: people who lift others up even while carrying their own burdens, who work hard without hesitation, and who make every space they enter a little brighter. Ms. Jodi is, without question, one of the hardest working and most remarkable women you will ever meet. She deserves to be celebrated—not only for what she does, but for who she is. The world is better because of her, and we are all better for knowing her.

Jodi Lemons, because you've been 'Caught in the Act', John and the gang at the Magnolia Pit have a $50 gift certificate for you to come enjoy a great meal!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Jodi to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
