Not only does Jimmy serve as a Chaplain, but he constantly preaches the message of love! While that message sounds like a good one, Jimmy practices what he preaches.

Just look at the nomination letter we got about Jimmy from his life-long friend, Sheila Rhyne, who was only too proud to tout the wonders of Jimmy's heart. And it was that letter that made him a shoe-in as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Chaplin Jimmy is, or tries to make himself, available to all people. He has church service on Friday nights at the Winner's Circle Church so he can try to accommodate all people & the horse trainers, jockeys & their families.
He does have it on live FB as well so if anyone can't travel to Louisiana they can watch it from their home. Chaplin Jimmy holds prayer meetings every morning at Louisiana Downs before everyone gets their day going & during the races he is all over the place meeting & greeting everyone. He has to leave at times to do funerals. He has organized bake sales for families in need, or going through crisis, to help them with expenses that they may need the money for. There are so many things that Chaplin Jimmy does it's really too much to describe. I just know everyone that meets Chaplin Jimmy loves him. I really just believe for everything he does that he is the best person to receive this week's Caught in the Act Award!
