Caught in the Act - Jimmy Brown
loading...

In spite of the curveballs that life has thrown his way, Jimmy's there. Day in and day out. He's one of those people who truly cares and his actions have shown it!

It's his heart and dedication that we're celebrating this week!

Just read the nomination letter that his wife, Naomi, submitted to us and you'll see how easy it was to name Jimmy Brown this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

I am nominating my husband Jimmy. He has been serving the communities of Blanchard, Shreveport, and Bossier since he was 15 years old. First as the first junior fire fighter for Caddo fire district 1 and most recently as a paramedic for Bossier Parish EMS. For the past 2 and a half years Jimmy has been living with and fighting stage 4 colon and liver cancer. He is the strongest person I know. He will leave chemo, that he sits through all day, with his chemo still attached to him, and go to work for a 24 hour shift serving others. I am so proud of him. If anyone deserves to be recognized it is him.

Jimmy Brown, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Magnolia Pit Barbecue have a $50 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Jimmy to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
