Jennifer McHenry Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient

Jennifer McHenry has four incredible kids of her own, but ask anyone in the Haughton area and they'll tell you, she actually has hundreds of kids.

Any of those kids fortunate enough to cross her path, even if it's just one time, will be pulled into her fold with love and care for the rest of their days.

It's her love for those kids and her commitment to community that made Jennifer and easy choice as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just look at the letter we got from her dear friend, Bre Clark and you'll see just how amazing this lady truly is!

So many words can describe Jennifer McHenry; kind, thoughtful, giving, superstar. But, if we had to describe her in just one word its SELFLESS! There is absolutely NOTHING this woman wouldn't do for someone in need. Whether it be a close friend or complete stranger, there is no doubt Jennifer will come through to help no matter the situation at hand. She has 4 beautiful children with her husband Charles. She does not miss anything when it comes to these babies. Whether its being the president of the PTA, decorating for their parties/dances, filling candy bags, chaperoning lock in's, or just being their biggest cheerleader this woman shows up and shows out! She is a pillar of the Haughton community. Actively involved in 4 different schools, sporting events, and the community as a whole. If there is something to know, Jennifer knows and is involved in some way! She is a friend to all and is always willing to assist any way she can. She fills stockings for donations every Christmas for the community.
Volunteers her time in dugouts. Designs and makes so many team uniforms we lose count. She and her husband sponsor sporting events and uniforms without recognition because they simply say, "its sponsored!" As a dugout mom, if your kid has met her ONCE she will forever count them as hers and look out for them, nurture them, and love them! She's a great friend. If you're going through it, she is right there beside you! No matter how big or small, you will not face it alone if it is up to her. She will pick up your kids, take them for days to help out, bake cookies with them, and turn a day of work into a movie night filled with cuddles, just because they need her to. There are so many great things we could say but we will leave you with this; to know her is to love her and their isn't anyone more deserving than her for the caught in the act award. -Bre Clark & Crystal Harner
