In Jaime's nomination letter from her husband, Corey, we learned about this incredible woman who has meant so much to so many, and that made her an obvious choice as the recipient of this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

My wife, Jaime has been a public school teacher for over 20 years. She has taught in Claiborne, Bossier, and now Webster Parish. Jaime is also the amazing mother of our daughter Ashlyn, who we adopted after a devastating car wreck that Jaime had. She was hit head on by a cement truck on March 6th, 2007. Jaime stayed in LSU 3 months and had to do a year and a half of physical therapy, but overcame it all and kept her positive spirit. If anyone might have a “right or a reason to complain” it would be Jaime, but she faces every day with a smile because of her positive attitude and her unshakable faith in God!! Despite all she’s been through, she continues teaching and loving on kids as if they were her own. She doesn’t hesitate to jump in for a child if there is something they are in need of. Jaime is an amazing wife and mother with a huge heart!! We love her dearly!!

Jaime Whatley, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner.

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Jaime to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.

Things Louisiana Drivers Hate Most About Other Drivers

In Louisiana the roads are already bad enough. We don't need other drivers adding to our "road rage" potential. Just don't do these things and you'll stay off our "list". It's the biggest pet peeves of drivers in the whole state.
