North Louisiana High School Sports This Week

Not only are most of the seniors counting the days til graduation, we've got LOTS of seniors wrapping up their sporting careers in a BIG way.  I know for a fact that I'm going to forget someone or something, so please feel free to add comments to this post to include your team or sport.  The Haughton Bucs Girls' Softball team is headed to Sulphur, Louisiana to compete once again for the State 4A Championship.  Also headed to the State Tournament are the Evangel Eagles Girls in 2A.  In Boys Baseball, Airline, Byrd, Captain Shreve, Haughton, Benton, Minden, Parkway, Northwood, North Desoto, Loyola, Calvary, Evangel, Lakeside, Springhill, North Caddo, Sarepta, and Haynesville will all begin playoff action this week.  Got anything to add?  Just enter your comments, but be sure to provide accurate info so that we all know exactly where/when to show up and root our kids on!  And for our local athletes "BRING US SOME GOLD back here where it belongs, IN NORTH LOUISIANA!
