The big week is not too far away! A Groundbreaking Celebration for Shreveport's Whole Foods Market is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 14.

The 29-acre development is located in Fern Marketplace, at the northeast corner of Fern Avenue and E. 70th Street. The following came from the news release sent to News Radio 710 KEEL from the developers.

The first phase of Fern Marketplace will consist of a 36,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market store and 32,000 square feet of high-end retail and restaurants. The development was designed by Gensler Architects and will be constructed by Wieland Davco.
