The Chicago Cubs victory celebration Friday attracted around 5 million people… the 7th largest gathering in human history… and the largest non-religious gathering ever, depending on who you ask…
BTW, you probably noticed that Brett Eldredge skipped the CMAs Wednesday… It was because he was watching his beloved Cubs! The team let him not only hoist the championship trophy right there on Wrigley Field, he got to ride in their parade and help sing Go Cubs Go at the Victory Rally.
There’s going to be a 29th and 30th season of The Simpsons according to Fox. The Simpsons already beat Gunsmoke a few years ago with the most seasons for a scripted primetime show, but now it’ll have the most episodes as well. I’m pretty sure The Simpsons will be around longer than cockroaches.
Dennis Quaid found a lost dog near Texas Motor Speedway yesterday. The dog is perfectly healthy and Dennis is taking care of her until her owners can be found. BTW, Carl Edwards was last night’s big winner in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
