My sister Michelle sent me a text message a few minutes ago asking for some easy crock pot recipes. I shared one of my "go to" creamy chicken recipes with her and it got me to thinking of all the untapped crock pot possibilities there are out there. I absolutely love crock pot cooking. I usually cook the typical roast, chicken, potatoes. I know some folks who even make Christmas ciders in their crock pots. I've included my recipe here for you to try.

This is the version Crock Pot that I currently own. The ability to program is fabulous--especially the fact that it will shut off of active cook mode and simply keep your meal warm until you turn the machine off. Unfortunately, the heating element in my Crock Pot is possessed and cannot be trusted--it only has two settings: boil and fry.

My "go to" Creamy Crock Pot Chicken and Noodles

3-4 boneless skinless frozen chicken breasts

1/4 cup sugar free balsamic vinaigrette

1 can low sodium cream of mushroom soup

1 can low sodium cream of chicken soup

Throw it on low for 6 hours. (Every pot is different)

I shred the chicken and pour the mixture over whole wheat egg noodles. Easy Peasy!! The chicken cooks so well from frozen. Throw whatever spices you'd like into this: black pepper, a little sea salt, even Tony's would be good.

Here is a crock pot Chicken Pot Pie recipe I am going to try this week! I will let you know how it turns out! And unlike in this video--I will show a photo of the finished product!
