DeSoto Parish Fish Fry Will Raise Money For Local Patient

Jeff Zeigler, husband of DeSoto Parish secretary, Jodi Ziegler, has had a tough go of late. Having recently endured a liver transplant, Jeff has a long road ahead of him as he strives towards a full recovery, but it's his friends, family and neighbors who want to take some of the stress of the associated medical expenses off of Jodi and him.

That's why this Friday, beginning at 11:00 am, the DeSoto Parish Police Jury will hold a fish fry fundraiser in the parking lot of the Old Market Basket.

Plates will only be $15 each and will include fish, French fries, hushpuppies, dessert and drink. All proceeds from these will go directly to Jeff to help him pay medical expenses.
