The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office is Up to it’s Usual Christmas Fun
If you hadn't already noticed, the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office has jokes... and lots of them!
It was just last year (2021) that deputies in DeSoto Parish had to make an unusual arrest. In case you missed it, they arrested an Elf on the Shelf for its hijinks and shenanigans. However, they later dropped the charges.
Since Kenny's arrest and subsequent release, the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office has drawn the attention of another wayward elf! Be forewarned, before you go breaking the law in DeSoto Parish, Deputy Twinkle Toes will be on the job soon!
However, elves aren't the only additions being made to the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office. They're looking to hire actual HUMANS!
It's kind of unfair if you ask me if you have to take a physical fitness test when they're offering up unlimited glazed donuts, but I guess that's the deal. Maybe it's a good thing you have to take the test BEFORE you're hired. After all, you'll need to be able to keep up with Deputy Twinkle Toes!
In all seriousness though, I think working for the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office would be pretty darn cool. In fact, I'm going to go ahead and raise my hand now for the position of 'Director of Social Media, Public Information, and General Mayhem.' Think they'll hire me?
