Dennis is this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award and for so many incredible reasons.

His wife Kristen, wrote us an amazing letter telling how Dennis volunteers countless hours to help those enter civilian life after military careers and you can truly feel her admiration for her husband with every word.

Just read for yourself why this man is so deserving of our recognition.

Let me tell you about my husband, Dennis Holland. Dennis puts everyone before himself, at home and at work. He is an amazing father and husband, but most importantly, he has put all of the civilians at Barksdale Air Force Base first for the past 3 years. Dennis has worked endless hours, by volunteer only, to make sure our civilians working at Barksdale Air Force are taken care of in the process of their renewal contracts. Dennis wants all employees at Barksdale to feel and know their worth by receiving care and respect in the workplace. There are so many mental and physical demands in the military that us on the outside will never truly understand until we have been in their shoes. My husband has given his years of service to Active Duty in the Air Force, training new active duty members to be all they can be in this career and now working as a civilian himself, he has dedicated the past three years to make sure all of their efforts do not go unrecognized. I can go into many details about this process but that would take days. Not to mention, Dennis will help any person/stranger at any time from the great flood in south bossier, snow-pocalypse, being stranded on the side of road or any person in need of helping hands. Just know my Dennis is deserving of this award because I do not tell him enough how much his efforts to help others and our family are deeply appreciated! Ps - the man LOVES a good steak too.
