The Heritage & Harvest Tour is coming up Saturday, September 24 from 10 am to 3 pm in the Belcher, Gilliam, Ida areas. If you missed the gorgeous sunflower trail festival this June here is another opportunity to enjoy the charm of the Belcher, Gilliam areas. A short drive north of Shreveport and you could be sipping lemonade under the shade of the magnolia trees as you take in the beauty and history of these homes.

Along with the three main homes located in Belcher, there are many other interesting stops on this years tour. Make sure you make it by the Gilliam Gin as they will be processing cotton during your trip.

Other stops along your tour include the Belcher Presbyterian Church, Shield's Lawn and Garden, Gilliam Gin, Red River Crossroads Museum, Hale Grist Mill, Capt Fletcher E Adams Fighter Group Squadron Museum, gardens at the home of James Allison and the Ida Methodist Church.

Many folks stop by the Belcher Presbyterian Church to buy their tour tickets, as it is easy to find. The church is at 508 Gray Street, Belcher, LA.
