MusicFest Announces A Tribute to Cody Canada and The Music of Cross Canadian Ragweed

We all miss Cross Canadian Ragweed like Koe Wetzel and that girl do. Hard to believe we are nearing a full decade since Red Dirt's preeminent band went their separate ways leaving a gaping hole in the scene, and all of our hearts.

Well, buck up we've got some good news for you. As first reported by Texas Music Pickers, and confirmed via a Shannon Canada Facebook post; in 2020 Cody Canda and Cross Canadian Ragweed will be honored in Steamboat Springs, Colo with the "MusicFest Tribute to Cody Canada and The Music of Cross Canadian Ragweed."

From Texas Music Pickers, "This year, Dickson Productions will be hosting Cody Canada and the music of Cross Canadian Ragweed as the 2020 MusicFest Tribute Artist!  Honoring accomplishments of the Texas/Red Dirt Legend, Cody Canada, this tribute concert will give artists the unique opportunity to express how Canada’s music has influenced them personally and professionally as they perform their own renditions of his music and will be recorded live (set to be released later in 2020)."
