Nate Bargatze in Bossier City: Ultimate Tour Guide
Shreveport-Bossier is officially buzzing, you guys! We are gearing up to see Nate Bargatze bring his "Big Dumb Eyes" world tour right here to our community.
Normally, when we are heading out for a night of big laughs, we find ourselves heading to the historic Shreveport Municipal Auditorium or The Strand Theatre. But because Nate is such a massive deal, Brookshire Grocery Arena is getting ready for an epic Thursday night on June 4th!
An arena show means a whole different set of rules than what you might be used to at smaller theater venues, and the last thing I want is for anyone to get turned away at the door.
To make sure your night is nothing but seamless laughs, here is your ultimate "Know Before You Go" guide using all the official rules.
Clear Your Schedule: Key Times to Know
According to the official schedule, you’ll want to plan your arrival carefully:
1:00 PM: The b1BANK Box Office officially opens for any last-minute ticket needs.
6:00 PM: Doors open to the public. Give yourself plenty of time to get through security!
7:15 PM: It is showtime!
The Bag Policy: Pack Light or Go Clear
This is where people usually get caught up, so listen closely! The arena enforces a strict bag policy:
Clear Bags: If you are bringing a clear bag, it must be 12" x 12" x 6" or smaller. A standard 1-gallon Ziploc-style bag works perfectly, too.
Non-Clear Bags: Small clutches or purses that are not clear must be 6" x 9" x 3" or smaller.
Diaper Bags & Medical Bags: Diaper bags must be clear. Medical bags are permitted but will be subject to a proper inspection and tagged at the entrance.
Prohibited Items: Leave the fan posters at home because no posters are allowed. Other banned items include weapons, long-lens cameras, strollers, and outside beverage containers.
Leave Your Cash At Home
Don't plan on buying your merchandise or concessions with paper money. Brookshire Grocery Arena is a 100% cashless facility to help keep the lines moving as quickly as possible. They accept all major credit and debit cards at all points of purchase.
Parking Tips for a Fast Getaway
Parking is always a game of strategy. General parking is strictly first-come, first-served. Accessible parking is located on the North side of the arena in the Brookshire Lot, which was previously known as Lot A.
Pro-Tip for Departure: If you want to sneak out quickly after the show ends, use the Super 1 Foods & Fresh lots located on the South side of the arena.
Arena Rules: Just a reminder that tailgating, open containers, open flames, and overnight parking are completely prohibited on the property.
Get your outfits ready, double-check your bags, and let's get ready for an unforgettable, hilarious Thursday night!
