I have several friends who are huge "The Nightmare Before Christmas" fans. My cousin went as far as to name her dog Jack Skellington. It's the 25th anniversary of the movie that made us all fall in love with the Pumpkin King you'll start to see a lot of "Nightmare Before Christmas" decorations and memorabilia. We are thrilled to welcome the voice of Jack Skellington to Geek'd Con! Chris Sarandon is also known for his role as Prince Humperdinck in "The Princess Bride" and he was nominated for several awards for his performance in "Dog Day Afternoon".

"The Nightmare Before Christmas" took over 3 years to produce. Chris Sarandon would get flown in every 3 months to voice certain scenes. Sometimes a whole days worth of work would only bring in around 11 seconds worth of footage a week. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" crew worked around the clock and it shows.

Make plans to meet Chris Sarandon, Better yet, get his autograph, take a selfie, and ask Chris Sarandon all kinds of questions August 17th through the 19th at the Shreveport Convention Center. Geek'd Con tickets are still available, buy your tickets here.
