We learned about Brittney's extraordinary dedication to others from her own daughter, Madison, who, at only 12 years of age, has already figured out how blessed she was when God picked out her Mom.

At such an early age, she's already wise enough to know that her Mom is a person worth admiring. Brittney's dedication to her family, friends and complete strangers is why Brittney was such an easy choice as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Each week we show our appreciation to an individual so willing to give of themselves, their hearts and their time. We do that with the Caught in the Act Award.

Take a look at the nomination letter that Madison submitted about her Mom and you'll also understand how easy this choice was.

I would like to tell you about my mom, Brittney Springer. She is one of a kind! She is my best friend. She is always there for others and her family. She always puts everyone first. She is very joyful and takes pride in everything she does. She makes an amazing mom to four kids and a awesome wife to our father. She works so hard for everything and never takes a break between her four jobs of owning a lawn service, vinyl business, weight loss clinic and a carpet cleaning business. She has helped me get through my toughest times. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better mom. She is everything I could ask for and more. She is always helping people when they need it. She saved and elderly man’s life when he was pulled over on the side of the road in the ditch. My mom instantly had a feeling something was wrong and got out and began to talk to him. He was not responding so she called 911. They told her he had a stroke and would not have made it if she did not act on it and that she had saved his life. When I was younger and my grandma and grandpa where in the nursing home. We would always buy cheese burgers from McDonald’s and give them out to the elders and watch smiles appear on their faces. It’s not the same going into the nursing home without my grandparents there but I would love to go back soon and watch those smiles. I’m so proud to call this beautiful, strong, Christian woman my mom. I love you
