Over the weekend, I saw this post pop up on Facebook referring to an advertisement for paid actors to protest the Confederate monument in Shreveport. Like most, I did a double take.

By the time I went to Craigslist to find the ad, it had already been flagged for removal and now you can't find it at all. Here are two screenshots of what I found.

This got me to thinking. If you follow politics, you've most likely heard of the alleged actors who were paid to disrupt campaign rallies. Is it too far fetched to think that someone might shell out money to help remove a monument they were opposed to? Or, is this an attempt to discredit protesters in general? After all, this is Craigslist... You can't assume that this is a legitimate advertisement.
