Angela Black Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient
All too often we hear the horror stories of residents being mistreated by staffers at nurse care centers, but this time, we hear of the real love shown by a Shreveport woman for her residents at Springlake Nursing Home.
Tina Harrington wrote to us to nominate Angela Black and her touching letter was one of her personal experience with the incredible kindness and compassion shown by Angela.
When most people place their elderly loved ones in a nursing home, there's a constant fear that they will be mistreated, but Tina's fears were all erased by this amazing lady.
Just see how easy it was to name Angela Black this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!
She works at Springlake Nursing Home as a dietician..my mom was a patient there until she passed on April 30...During that time I witnessed Angela going above and beyond to make sure everyone ate..even if they wanted something special...she always has a smile and does her work every day with a smile...she lights up life for everyone...it makes me feel good knowing she is there taking care of the elders...some of them never have anyone to visit them...so her smile and caring heart makes everyone love her...I'm so glad God put her in my life...she is so worthy
Angela Black, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner.
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Angela to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
