The weather will be warming up again and with no rain in the forecast it’s a great weekend to get out and enjoy all the events going on right here in the Ark-La-Tex. From the pioneer festival to some live country music we’ve got ya covered in Kiss Country. Check out all the great events below.

5th Annual Ray Forcier Rodeo in Benton: Put on by the Rockin J Cattle Company, this rodeo will feature some of the finest cowboys and cowgirls around, and you’ll see one of the finest bucking bulls in the country when PBR Finals Bull, Toy Soldier, makes his appearance! Tickets are $10 for adults and children’s tickets are $5. (more)

Greenwood Pioneer Heritage Festival: Beginning tonight the festival will deliver a little something for everyone as the festival rolls around. The William Peters Town Park on Highway 80 in Greenwood will be home for this year’s festival that will include a live performance from Mason Dixon on Friday night from 6-8pm. (more)

Cowboy Troy at Dare Day Club: He’s rapped his way into the country mainstream on the first cut of Big & Rich's 2004 debut Horse Of A Different Color. At the same time it's as simple as the story of a kid from Texas who did what all kids do he soaked up the world around him. (more)

Greenwood Fishin’ Mission Team Bass Tournament: The tournament will be held this Saturday and contestants must be in the weigh in line by 4:00 pm in at the Greenwood Town Park. Proceeds will benefit Veteran Services and the winning team could take home $1,000!!! (more)

Corvette Show: To Benefit Local Food Bank Around 100 classic and collector Corvettes will be on display at the 3rd Annual Southern Knights Corvette Club Corvette Celebration Car Show, September 20th at the Louisiana Boardwalk. The show will run from 10 am until 2:30 pm along main street at the Boardwalk with a cash prize going to the winning corvette. (more)
