Around 100 classic and collector Corvettes will be on display at the 3rd Annual Southern Knights Corvette Club Corvette Celebration Car Show, September 20th at the Louisiana Boardwalk.

The show will run from 10 am until 2:30 pm along main street at the Boardwalk with a cash prize going to the winning corvette.

Once again the Corvette show is being sponsored by Chevyland in Shreveport. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.

According to Food Bank Executive Director Martha Marak, “Donations of cash or non-perishable food items will be greatly appreciated during the show. The Food Bank is always in need of donations and we really appreciate Chevyland and the Southern Knights for helping to feed the needy in our area.”

Chevyland General Sales Manager Bubba Winningham says, “We are extremely proud of the history of our legendary Chevrolet Corvette and of the Southern Knights Corvette Club.

In our on-going efforts to be good corporate citizens, we are very happy to help support the terrific work being done by the Food Bank in our hometown area.

Southern Knights Corvette Club President Stuart Dubin invites Corvette owners and enthusiasts alike, to participate in this family oriented event.  According to Dubin, “Shoppers and visitors to the Boardwalk on September 20th can enjoy a great show with plenty of good looking Corvettes on display. Please bring your donations to help the Food Bank.  The Southern Knights want to thank Chevyland for all their help this year and in many years past.”
