Trap Shoot To Benefit Christmas in Plain Dealing Slated For August 24

The 2nd Annual Trap Shoot Fund Raiser sponsored by the Christmas in Plain Dealing Committee will be held on August 24th at the Doerr Farm, located at 17504 Hwy 157, Plain Dealing, LA.  Parking and spectator admission is free.  Shooters should check in at 7:30am and the Trap Shoot will begin at 9:00 am.

Bring your gun and ammo.  Clay targets will be provided.  Target Loads only. 2 3/4" Shells. No more than 1 1/8 oz shot. No reloads. (subject to inspection)

Additionally they'll have several pistol contests with one cash prize per category.

Entry fees are as follows:

Trap Shoot for Men, Women & Children is $30.00

22 Riffle Shoot for children--with or without scope is $20.00

22 Riffle Shoot for Adult Men & Women With or without scope is $20.00

22 Pistol Shoot for Adult Men & Women 18 years or older is $20.00

Open sight only Center Fire Pistol Shoot Adult Men/Women 18 years or older is $20.00

In addition to the shooting contests there will be a raffle for a 12 gauge shotgun, silent auctions, door prizes, vendors with crafts and food and drink concessions.

Bring your chairs, umbrellas or tents. There will be no alcohol or pets allowed.
