While a lot of eyes were on the Presidential debate last night, the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons were able to put aside their rivalry and share a touching message of unity.

Personally, I don't agree with protesting during the National Anthem, that's why I'm so glad they waited until after it was over as a sign of respect. However, I do recognize their right to protest. It made me proud to be from Louisiana, especially when the teams made sure to be especially sensitive on the ten year anniversary of the re-opening of the Superdome following Hurricane Katrina.

Now, if only Atlanta would have given us the win... The Saints lost 45-32 extending their winless streak to 0-3.
