Mudbug Madness

Sterling and Kathy Bretzman met while volunteering at last year's Mudbug Madness Festival.  They recently married and are volunteering again this year.

Wayne Toups mixes Zydeco with Cajun, Soul, Rock and Blues to create his unique style of "ZydeCajun" and this Louisiana Legend is hitting the main stage at Mudbug Madness tonight at 8:15! Here's a little history behind the man and his music.

It's opening day at Mudbug Madness! Food, fun with family, great music and two weird DJ's. Seriously though, we'll be at Mudbug Madness tonight for the opening ceremonies, so load up the family and come see us! And come hungry!

Shreveport is now one of Louisiana’s largest and most popular Cajun festivals, featuring renown Cajun, Zydeco, Blues and Jazz artists, mouth-watering Cajun cuisine, raucous contests, and fun for all ages.

It's almost time for one of the biggest parties in the Ark-La-Tex!  Mudbug Madness starts this Thursday and runs through Sunday at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport!  In fact, Turner and McCoy (that's us) will MC the "Opening Ceremonies" Thursday night at 7pm and we'd love to see you there!

Mudbug Madness gates open at 11 am today at Festival Plaza for the 28th annual celebration of the crawfish boil!
