Power Up In Faith is a two-fold luncheon. The event from 11am to 1pm on June 12 is a way to support CHRISTUS Grace Home and to also honor our clergy throughout NW Louisiana.

The Gentleman’s Cooking Classic is coming to the Shreveport Convention Center Saturday June 21st from 6-9pm. This year’s theme is “Southern Cooking Meets Zydeco” and will feature dishes prepared and served by Kiss Country politicians and civic and community leaders.

The second annual ESA St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Bunco fundraiser is taking place Monday April 14th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bossier City. Your $45 ticket includes heavy hors d’oeuvres as well as a free door prize and a raffle ticket. You could possibly win up to $700 as well.

Both Sonic (Airline Drive and East Texas locations) and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will be holding a special fundraiser Thursday, November 21st for Lexi Gordon.

The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier City wants you to join them this Saturday, February 16 at Independence Stadium for the "Running For A Cause"  5K Race and 1/2 Mile Family Fun Run.

Run with the Nuns VI will be held THIS WEEKEND!  Today and tomorrow, join the party in the Red River District of Downtown Shreveport.  Special guests, Gerald and Kitten Dowden, stars of Shreveport’s Bayou Billionaires which airs on CMT, will be helping the Sisters with their live auction plus visiting with participants on Saturday.

There is a great fundraiser happening this weekend in Blanchard to support Reba Tullis and her family as Reba battles breast cancer. Music, food, auctions--all proceeds benefit Reba and her family.
