October 9, 2012 A 16 year old North Dallas cheerleader has set a world record for back handsprings. Miranda Ferguson, a junior at the Hockaday all-girls school, attempted her record setting talent at halftime of the St. Marks School of Texas game against the Oakridge School.

It is often noted that cheerleading is one of the most dangerous sports out of there, and anybody watching the Michigan State vs Florida State college basketball game Wednesday was reminded of that when MSU cheerleader Taylor Young landed right on her head after falling backward off of a male cheerleader’s shoulders.
