February 22, 2012 Shriners Hospitals for Children and IHOP restaurants are celebrating National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 28 from 7 am to 10 pm. IHOP will be offering a free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes to each guest and, in return, diners will be asked to make a voluntary donation to support Shriners Hospitals for Children and other local charities
January 20, 2012 Shreveport Police veteran, Cpl. Robert Rivet was injured in an ATV accident Aug. 24, 2011, and suffered traumatic brain injury. Because of the vast expense of the medical treatment, his personal funds are extremely limited and his friends and family are trying to raise additional monies for the purchase of a wheelchair accessible van.
