SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police arrest man arrested for threatening with a firearm

On July 21st, 2023, at 4:55 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 6100 block of Tierra Drive. Responding officers were informed of an armed gunman at this location firing multiple rounds. Officers arrived and located a vehicle that was struck by gunfire.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and further investigation revealed that a male identified as Laroderick Marshall (12-24-04) was firing a handgun in the area. When officers contacted Marshall, he was found to be in possession of a handgun. Officers took Marshall into custody.

Marshall was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of illegal use of a weapon.

We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
