Shreveport Police Investigating Apartment Complex Shooting

On Monday, June 19, 2023 at 2:13pm Shreveport Police Department was responding to a Suspicious/ Prowler call at the Jolie Apartments located in the 1000 block of Quail Creek Blvd.

While Officers were responding a call came in for a shooting in the same apartment complex. Upon arrival SPD located a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. That male was pronounced deceased on scene. The Caddo Parish Coroner was notified.

While Officers were investigating the homicide scene, the 911 dispatch received a call from Oschner LSU Hospital in regards of a male gunshot victim arriving by private vehicle. SPD was notified and units were dispatched to the hospital.

One person has been detained but not confirmed if they are a suspect at this time.
