Shreveport Bossier Weekend Events — June 8-10

We are headed into another fun-filled weekend in Kiss Country. Gitty up and get to Springhill for the big rodeo, or enjoy a little live music across the Ark-La-Tex.

The 60th Annual Springhill PRCA Rodeo in Springhill is also home to one of the largest outdoor arenas in Louisiana.

This weekend, cowboys and cowgirls from all across the country will gather for a professional-level rodeo competition. Bareback, Saddlebronc, Bulls, Barrels, Steer Wrestling, Calf Roping, Breakaway and Team Roping will be featured.

The Shreveport Farmer's Market is open Saturday 7AM-Noon at Festival Plaza in Downtown Shreveport.

This year's market features over 150 booths. Enjoy produce, meats, plants and cheese; canned/baked goods; arts & crafts; and ready-to-eat foods.

The Farmer's Market also has a children's area, market cafe, demonstrations and live music. This Saturday, enjoy music from Howlin' Henry along with Louisiana Dan from 8AM-Noon at the market.
