Register Now For Dragon Boat Races [VIDEO]
The 2012 Dragon Boat Festival is September 15th and its time to get your team registered to row the Red! Your arms and heart will feel like they are going to explode and fall off–and its all for a good cause!
Next month will mark the 4th annual Red River Dragon Boat Races organized by the Shreveport Rotary Club. Last year over $23,000 was raised through the Festival. The money raised supports Shreveport area education, social services and other community projects. This year’s opening ceremonies begin at 8:30 am with the first races starting immediately after. Here are the details:
- Registration must be completed by August 27th
- Team registration fee is $900
- Each team needs a minimum 20 members + one drummer
