And now I almost feel like a nine year old that can hear the sound of the ice cream truck off in the distance.  The Girl Scout cookies are coming...the Girl Scout cookies are coming!

According to girlscouts.org, we are only two days away from the start of Girl Scout Cookie season here in Shreveport and Bossier City!

My taste buds already have me drooling. I've got visions of Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Samoas and Do-si-dos dancing in my head.

Ok, I'm a little different than most folks around here in the fact that my favorite is the Tagalong; I know, it should be Thin Mints, but I just can't help myself. I'm a rebel like that.

Though I'm not aware of any new cookie flavors available in 2024, I did read that a number of their cookies are vegan friendly and some are gluten free.
