Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, 25, and Eden’s Edge drummer Chris Tyrrell, 24, met a little over a year ago on the Tim McGraw tour in early 2010.  And over the Fourth of July weekend, Chris popped the question.

According to PEOPLE, Hillary says, “Chris proposed exactly the way I’ve always dreamed.”  “Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and – in our workout clothes – he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together!”

Actually, Lady Antebellum’s current single, “Just A Kiss” was inspired by Hillary and Chris’ growing relationship.  Hillary told Billboard, "There is so much excitement at the beginning of a new relationship ... This song is about one of those times when your brain kicks in and tells your heart, 'Good things are worth waiting for.' "

At the moment, Lady Antebellum is headlining their own summer tour and will release a new album “Own The Night” September 13 and Chris is travelling with Eden’s Edge on Brad Paisley’s H20 II tour.  No date as of yet for the wedding, but apparently band mates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood have approved of Hillary’s choice.  Click the link below to listen as Charles gives his blessings.
