Multi-Platinum selling blues/rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd and DCF Concerts in association with Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana announced today they will work together for the “We Can Help Moore” Relief Effort to benefit the victims of the recent tornadoes in Moore, Oklahoma.

All proceeds from the We Can Help Moore Concert will be donated to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, while the items collected by Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana will be delivered by Kenny Wayne Shepherd directly to Oklahoma Goodwill Industries on June 7th.

Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana’s “We Can Help Moore” Relief Effort will be Friday, May 31st (noon – 8:00 pm) Saturday, June 1st (8:00 am – 8:00 pm) and Sunday June 2nd (1:00 pm – 5:00 pm) at The Goodwill Pierremont Store in Shreveport - located at 8100 Jump Run (between Walmart and Tinseltown on Bert Kouns).

The Relief Effort culminates the evening of June 7th, 2013 with a special Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band concert taking place at The Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City, OK benefiting those affected by the tragic tornado.

Tickets are available online at www.dcfconcerts.com, at Buy For Less stores, by phone at 866.977.6849. Ticket prices will be $30, although, all tickets previously purchased for the Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert will be honored.  In addition to the $30 ticket price there will be 60 VIP Packages available for $100.  VIP packages will include admission to the We Can Help Moore Concert, admission to the sound check party, a meet-and-greet with Kenny Wayne Shepherd and early admission to the venue.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd and event producers issued the following statement: “We Can Help Moore” is a way for us to aid a community that has been devastated by the tornadoes.  We have decided to donate all proceeds from this concert to The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and with the generosity of Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana, we can help those affected get back on their feet.
