Glenn Alderman was one of the most awesome men I ever met.  He just reeked of Christian goodness. He was incredibly kind, always smiling and forever giving of his time with the youth of Haughton and the Haughton High School Big Red Buccaneer Band and as long-time pastor of Belle Park Baptist Church in the Bellevue community.

It was a staggering blow to his community and church when Glenn ultimately lost his battle with cancer. However, the community isn't allowing cancer to have the final word for Glenn's family.

Rallying together, North Bossier parish has begun the "Build The Aldermans a House" campaign to give the pastor's widow and family a home of their own.

To aid the cause, this Saturday, November 9, the group is holding a Fish Fry as part of the Haughton Craft Fair at the intersection of Highway 3227 and Allen Town Road.

Fried fish with all the trimmings will be sold for only $5 per plate and you'll find loads of canned goods, supplements, crafts, baked goods and much more available at the craft fair.

Make plans to come early, stay late and eat a lot!  Donations will also be accepted to continue the drive.
