East Texas Boy Raises $10,000 With Lemonade Stand [VIDEO]
In an effort to raise money for his father's growing medical bills, six year old Drew Cox of Gladewater, Texas set up a lemonade stand last weekend. At 25 cents per glass, people from all over, including families from Shreveport, lined up around the block to help out.
Drew's sign read "Please help my dad 25 cent lemonade". Drew's father, Randy Cox, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer a few months ago according to KLTV. Well, the community sure did help! One person even wrote a $5,000 check to the Cox family. Drew raised over $10,000 in one day at his lemonade stand. Click here to make a donation!
