Can You Help Mr. Sammy Rebuild After the Flood of 2015?

This morning Bristol and I were privileged to speak with Shreveport Fireman, John Phelan, about a fundraiser he's recently created to help a fellow Shreveporter, Mr. Sammy Charchio, after the Flood of 2015.

When John discovered that Mr. Sammy would be ineligible for FEMA funds after the flood and that his home would require several thousands of dollars in repairs, he immediately went into action and created a GoFundMe account in hopes of raising $5,000.

And it was the way that he demonstrated the need for aid that caught our attention.  He put together an awesome video that highlighted Mr. Sammy, his history and the devastation.
